Doncaster were tested first.Grant Holt fired a fierce strike at the goal, but Ross Turnbull tipped it wide.
Shortly after Chris Brown was treated for a head injury,Rovers scored. With 25 minutes gone,Theo Robinson struck a low shot into the Wigan net-that's 2 in 2 for the newcomer.
And it was 2-0 before the break.Bongani Khumalo whipped in a corner,it was met by Rob Jones who tapped the ball down for Chris Brown to finish off.
It took something special to get the Latics back into the game.Shaun Maloney's free kick after 62 minutes we t over the wall and past Turnbull.
With Rovers defending brilliantly and stopping Wigan as much as possible,it looked like a shock win.But it was not to be.On the 90 minute-mark,Leon Barnett levelled the scores so that both teams got a fair share.
