JACKETT PRAISES FLYNN'S WORK

Wolves manager Kenny Jackett has reserved special praise for Rovers' Director of Football for his success with Doncaster.

Jackett has described 57-year-old Flynn as 'one of Wales' greatest managers' and a credit to every club he has been in charge of.

Former striker Jackett,51,replaced Flynn as Swansea boss in March 2004 in a bid to achieve promotion to League One.However,he lost his first six games in charge and ruined the chances.

Flynn is best known for his 12-year reign at Wrexham which saw the Reds beat Arsenal and Spurs in the FA Cup.He ended the reign in 2001 after taking them as far as he could.

He then worked at Swansea,Wales and then guided Doncaster to promotion.
