OPPONENTS GUIDE #3:WIGAN ATHELTIC (A)

Tuesday rearranged fixture sees Donny travel to Lancashire to play FA Cup holders Wigan.

Despite becoming notorious for staying up at the end of the season and winning the FA Cup this year,Wigan were relegated to the second tier. This led to lots of key players leaving but some new talent coming in.

This will be the 30th competitive meeting between the two clubs. The last time Rovers beat Wigan was in 1987.

THE GAFFER-OWEN COYLE
         COYLE HAS A GOOD CV
Owen Coyle is no stranger when it comes to these parts of England. He got Wigan's neighbours Burnley promoted into the Premier League in 2009,only to leave the club for Bolton a few months later. He was sacked by Bolton in October last year due to poor results. Now,the Scot is on board at Wigan and hopes to get them promoted.

ONE TO WATCH-CALLUM McMANAMAN
       CALLUM IS A GOOD PLAYER
This striker is one of Wigan's very own talents. He will be suspended for the match tomorrow, but his intelligent play and fast pace causes confusion for any opponent.
