OPPONENTS GUIDE #6:HUDDERSFIELD TOWN

Huddersfield is the next stop in Doncaster's season in a Yorkshire derby which will prove to be an entertaining match.

The Terriers won promotion to the Championship in 2012 after beating Sheffield United on penalties. However, they struggled for the majority and only were able to stay up on the last day of the season.

A rebuilt team now means the club have a stronger chance of success this season.

THE GROUND-JOHN SMITHS STADIUM
Formerly the Galpharm Stadium, the    24-000 capacity ground and opened in 1994.It also hosts rugby matches which mainly involve local club Huddersfield Giants and has been the event of concerts in the past.

THE GAFFER-MARK ROBINS
The man who famously 'saved Sir Alex's job' at Manchester United is no stranger to Yorkshire and has spent most of his time managing here. His first spell was at Rotherham, which lasted until late 2009,and then Barnsley where he remained until 2011.He became Terriers boss in February 2013 following Simon Grayson's dismissal.

THE LEADER-PETER CLARKE
Peter and his twin Nathan were both really crucial defenders in Huddersfield's promotion-winning year. The brothers are both Huddersfield born and bred and supported the club as kids-so just imagine how excited Peter was to be named captain.

ONES TO WATCH

JAMES VAUGHAN-SUPER STRIKER
The 25-year-old striker is a real bargain. After a rather successful loan spell last season, the 5'11" talisman joined Huddersfield on a free in July 2013 and has scored 4 goals in 5 matches.

ADAM HAMMILL-MIDFIELDER MAESTRO
Hammill developed into a hard-working,goal scoring player during his time under Robins at Barnsley, scoring 12 goals in 64 matches. After a failed spell at Wolves,he now works back with his old gaffer at Huddersfield after a loan spell.

JON STEAD-FAB FORWARD
Without a doubt,Jon Stead is a Championship superstar striker known well for moving east to west of the UK in a successful period. He played first at Ipswich then moved to Bristol City where he won Player of the Year in 2010.He now is back at where his career began-Huddersfield Town.
