OPPONENTS GUIDE #7:WATFORD(A)

The upcoming Tuesday night sees the Rovers travel down to Hertfordshire to play Watford, who have suddenly become successful after a takeover from the Italian Pozzo family, who also own La Liga side Granada and Italian giants Udinese.

Last season was undoubtedly one of immense pride for the Hornets. They finished third in the table, cams within minutes of an automatic promotion spot and got into the playoff final at Wembley, only to lose in extra time to Crystal Palace.

Last season,Watford attracted attention in England because of one player,Matej Vydra(pictured above). Although-like the  majority of the Watford players last season-he was on-loan from Udinese, the 21-year-old forward scored 23 goals in 45 games.

Chelsea legend Zola started his managerial tenure at West Ham in 2008,and remained on Green Street until 2010.He is now at Watford, working with the owners to get the team back in the big time.
