YEOVIL TOWN 0-3 DONCASTER ROVERS

Doncaster began the 2014/15 season in the perfect fashion by beating fellow relegation partners Yeovil 3-0 on a sunny West Country day.

After eight minutes,Donny took the lead through new striker CURTIS MAIN.The former Middlesbrough youth player lobbed over the advancing Chris Weale,who was part of the original Yeovil side who beat Doncaster in 2003 to earn promotion to the Football League.

Yeovil then created some chances but to no avail.Sam Foley found Moore in the box but his header was miles off target.With twenty minutes played,Aaron Martin hit the side of the netting from a corner.

In the second half,Yeovil had to react quickly early on to deny Nathan Tyson's low shot from going in.Martin had to scramble the ball off the line and James Coppinger's curling shot was punched away by Weale.

Doncaster doubled the lead with half an hour left.HARRY FORRESTER rounded Weale after a good run and tucked the ball home.2-0,much to Yeovil boss Gary Johnson's despair.

Late on,former Doncaster player and late sub James Hayter hit the bar with a curling header.But it was soon 3-0 and game over after THEO ROBINSON scored.Yeovil now need to focus on their cup game on Tuesday.
