Saturday's game is our first return since then. Here is how to get there.
TRAIN
Colchester North is the nearest station to the stadium and is two miles away.It takes ten minutes to get there.A shuttle bus operates from the station to the stadium from Bruff Close. To get to it,leave the station and turn left, taking the second left at the roundabout. The buses park behind the "Big Yellow" storage centre. It runs from 1pm and it's a £2 return.
PRE-MATCH PINT
There is little choice of pubs with the stadium located on the outskirts of the town. The Dog and Pheasant is popular but it only admits home fans. The best thing to do is not to wear your colours for this pub and you'll be admitted fine.A fig and chip shop is opposite it.
The Norfolk Arms and a Greene King pub are next to the station.
PARKING
A lot of fans tend to park at the station and get the bus to save time.If you wish to park in the ground, there are 700 available spaces and it's £6 for a ticket. There is another car park on a nearby industrial estate and local businesses nearby offer parking for £5.
