DONCASTER ROVERS 0-2 OLDHAM ATHELTIC

Oldham claimed their first win of the season away at Doncaster in the weekend leading up to the international break and move out of the relegation zone.

Oldham scored with the game only three minutes long.A freekick wasn't dealt with by the home defence and JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS pounced on the chance to score, striking into the back of the net.

It took twenty minutes for Doncaster to fully respond to going 1-0 down.Coppinger's low drive was blocked by James Wilson and Luke McCullough headed a corner over the bar in a half that Oldham seemed to control.

Cédric Evina created a better chance.Reece Wabara held back for the Frenchman to let rip from the edge of the area, only for Paul Rachubka to be equal to it.Half time, and Paul Dickov's former club were haunting him.

Doncaster started off the second half a lot better and had listened in the team talk.In the first ten minutes,Tyson headed just wide from a cross and Marc De Val Fernandez hit a volley over the bar;a very hopeful start to say the least.

After fifty-eight minutes,Oldham won a penalty and it was a former Rovers player who took it-JONATHON FORTE.The striker had three loan spells at Doncaster and he cooly slotted the penalty into the net and double the lead.

Harry Forrester, back from injury, whipped a cross in for Coppinger but he missed completely.Twenty minutes were left to play and nothing was to come.

The last few chances all fell to Doncaster in desperation, but they weren't taken well and gave Lee Johnson's side a happy trip back to Lancashire.

VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
DONCASTER BOSS PAUL DICKOV

"We were very complacent in the game and I'm annoyed that the players had that attitude.Perhaps we should've freshened it up a little bit because we huffed and puffed at it."

"I want to use this international break to sort out my squad and teams. We need to change the system."

"League One is difficult to compete in because teams in the lower half want to beat the big shots. We had a good Tuesday night but today we looked uneasy."

OLDHAM BOSS LEE JOHNSON

"That win was for the fans if anything. They wanted us to show something and we produced."

"It's a relief for us.New principles have been implemented and we were very good out there. Now we have the monkey off our back,it's better."
