DICKOV LEARNS OFF STRACHAN

Scotland head coach Gordon Strachan has had a phone conversation with his fellow countryman and Doncaster boss Paul Dickov about where he's going wrong.

Although Dickov has done his coaching badges and holds a UEFA licence,Strachan has watched Doncaster's match against Middlesbrough on a DVD and telephoned him about where he went wrong.

"Gordon spoke to me in my hotel room on Tuesday evening.He wasn't annoyed but simply wanted to talk to me about how I could improve at Doncaster",a honest Dickov explained.

"He is a experienced coach without a shadow of a doubt.I will take into account what he said and apply it."
