DICKOV WANTS MORE EFFORT IN PORTUGAL

Paul Dickov has warned the Doncaster Rovers squad that they need to show they can put in more effort during their tour of Portugal.

The players set off to their camp near Lisbon on Tuesday morning after the 2-0 friendly defeat at Lincoln City.Doncaster had trialled free agents for the game in hope of penning deals for some.

"The game at Lincoln was a chance for any youth team players and trialists to show what they're made of.They didn't put in enough effort and we need to try harder,"admits Dickov.

"I don't want to see the mistakes we made at Lincoln in Portugal. We lacked energy because of the way we pushed them, but tiredness isn't an excuse and we must do better."
