BARNSLEY SIGN GOALKEEPER TURNBULL

Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Ross Turnbull has moved to fellow League One side and South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on a two-year-deal.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper, pictured above with new Barnsley striker Sam Winnall, has become Barnsley's fourth summer signing.

The former Chelsea substitute and Middlesbrough trainee previously had a loan spell at Barnsley under Simon Davey in 2006.

"I wanted to sign as soon as contact was made with me,"says Turnbull.

"I know I have to settle down first but it'll be a good move for me."

Barnsley signed Doncaster trailist James Bailey earlier this week to boost their squad, who were relegated along with Donny last season.

Paul Dickov's Doncaster have failed to make any signings yet with three weeks until the season starts.
