NOTTINGHAM FOREST 0-0 DONCASTER ROVERS

Doncaster tried hard to break down Forest with their counter attacks but couldn't connect in front of 27,000 fans. The away side deserved to win,but Forest will wonder how they drew.

The game started off slowly but Jamie Paterson had the game set after four minutes.Greg Halford crossed for Simon Cox,the Irishman left it for 21-year-old Paterson to pull a save out of Johnstone.

Five minutes later,Gonzalo Jara's low drive was inches away from the goal.Paterson had another drive but blasted high into the stands.A good start but Billy Davies was looking frustrated on his touchline due to the defensive work by Donny.

Forest tried again.Halford hit the post and Andy Reid's freekick was caught well by Sam Johnstone. The youngster is a good prospect so far.

The second half kicked off with a Rovers break.James Husband abused his pace to cross for Billy Sharp.Karl Darlow punched it away to Greening.

Doncaster attacked again.Wellens won a freekick taken by Cotterill,he found Sharp who produced a double save from Darlow and it was left to Halford to clear it to the flanks after sixty-five minutes.

In the last ten minutes,Husband broke again for Brown who headed wide.Forest were then left space for Majewski to run into-he didn't connect with others and selfishly struck for Johnstone to punch the ball out for a corner. The corner was taken quickly but struck over by Matt Derbyshire.

The last chance of the game fell to Majewski, and he hit over.Six games now since Forest last won, concerning the manager and chairman.

VIEW FROM THE TOUCHLINE

NOTTINGHAM FOREST BOSS BILLY DAVIES
"We are annoyed by the draw because for twenty minutes of the match we played well.We feel as though we should've gotten more."

"Next weekend is the game against Derby and I anticipate that one."

DONCASTER BOSS PAUL DICKOV
"A clean sheet away from home and a draw against a side who are really desperate for promotion and an upturn in form is outstanding in my opinion. We are disappointed not to win."

"The defenders played a key role.Paul Quinn was excellent despite a small knock to the head but the work ethic can't be faulted."

DONCASTER MIDFIELDER MARK DUFFY
"We are playing dangerous football and this intimidates teams as they cannot contain us defensively. It's good form for us to maintain."
