It took the Frenchman just twenty-four minutes into his debut in front of the home faithful to score.A cross from Ian Harte met KERMORGANT and he volleyed under Sam Johnstone.
Before the break,KERMORGANT scored again. He used his head to nod the ball past Johnstone from a Simon Francis cross.Bournemouth failed to win any games last month, but showed resilience.
In stoppages,Andy Surman struck a good chance at Johnstone and Ryan Fraser headed wide.
Only four minutes into the second half and it was 3-0 thanks to midfielder HARRY ARTER.Arter, who played part-time three years ago, fired the ball into the right of the goal.Theo Robinson then missed a sitter.
KERMORGANT had his hat-trick on seventy-five minutes. He headed a good cross into the net before running off to celebrate with the jubilant Cherries fans and bench.Johnstone felt it was harsh on him.
ARTER completed the score with ten minutes left, tapping a corner under the goalkeeper and rounding off a good display.Same can't be said for Donny;they're two points above the drop.
VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
BOURNEMOUTH BOSS EDDIE HOWE
"Yann Kermorgant made it hell for them because of the dimension he created."
"The pleasing aspect for him is his aspect to head the ball.He uses the aerial ability really well and that's a quality few of the team have. The goals he scored were the real deal."
DONCASTER BOSS PAUL DICKOV
"Unacceptable is the word.Thirteen games to go until the end of the season and we all know it will require a huge shift should we stay up."
"I feel bad for the few who travelled down here to see us because they've really wasted good money and time after today's game."
"Bournemouth caused us problems in the game and we just couldn't deal with them enough."
