ROBINSON:'I LOVE INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL'

Doncaster striker Theo Robinson has expressed his utmost delight at playing international football for the Jamaica national football team.

Robinson,25,was first called up for Jamaica last year and made his full international debut against the USA,losing 2-1.

Theo said,"It's a dream to play for my country.I qualify to play for Jamaica on my grandparents side because they are from Jamaica, but moved to Birmingham in the 1970s along with my mum,who was a small child."

"My grandad was delighted when he heard I'd been called up for the squad and told me to embrace it."

"The only downside is that we were disappointed not to qualify for the World Cup.We tried hard enough and didn't get anything which was annoying."
