GETTING AWAY:AFC BOURNEMOUTH

If you're going down to the Solent next weekend to see Doncaster Rovers play AFC Bournemouth,you might want a few tips.If you're going to the game,best stay overnight in Portsmouth or Southampton for the nightlife!

TRAIN

The nearest station to the Goldsands Stadium(more commonly called Dean Court) is Pokesdown.Most trains arrive at Bournemouth Central and it's half an hour to the ground from here.If you get to Pokesdown(served by trains from London Waterloo),leave the station and turn right down Christchurch Road.Proceed 400 metres and then turn right to Gloucester Road where Dean Court is.

BUS

At Central,catch the yellow 33 bus.They run every half an hour.

WHERE TO DRINK

The nearest pub to the stadium is at Queen's Park Hotel but it only serves home fans.Sir Percy Florence in Boscombe allows fans in but no colours must be worn.
