DONCASTER ROVERS 0-0 MIDDLESBROUGH

Doncaster extend their unbeaten run to four matches, whilst Aitor Karanka's Middlesbrough team haven't scored in three matches following the draw.

The first piece of major action came on sixteen minutes with a James Coppinger freekick. The shot was struck at the Boro wall and cleared by Ben Gibson to the halfway line in panic.

Twenty five minutes gone, and Billy Sharp headed a good cross from Mark Duffy at Shay Given in the opposing net.

Richie Wellens was aiming for a goal in the stoppage time phase of the first half.He aimed from outside the box only to hit the ball straight at the goalkeeper.A waisted opportunity in an eventful game so far.

Doncaster had the best chance of the game to score.Billy Sharp's good work down the wing and into the box wasn't connected by Chris Brown. The striker missed from only four yards out.

Shortly after Brown missed the golden opportunity of the game,Boro cranked up the pressure.Ledesma struck over and George Friend missed the target with fifteen minutes left.

The last chance saw Chris Brown have a shot cleared off the line by Kei Kamara.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

DONCASTER BOSS PAUL DICKOV
"We've now kept three clean sheets in four games. This is form that seriously needs to be maintained for the rest of the season."

"The condition of the pitch wasn't all that good but I was impressed with the attitude and backline setup."

MIDDLESBROUGH BOSS AITOR KARANKA
"Doncaster are improving their standards because they know the struggles of relegation needs to combatted by form. They were three unbeaten going into this and wanted to keep it up."

"When you don't play and you don't fight it makes it difficult to win the game and is an embarrassment for our supporters. We have a huge away following. People came to support us and we didn't play for them like we should.

"Doncaster were better than us at fighting for the ball and, in the circumstances, I'm happy to get a point."
