OPPONENTS GUIDE #19:BOLTON WANDERERS(A)

Bolton's success in the last fifteen years has been down to both a change in stadium and the role Sam Allardyce has played as manager, going far and beyond with the Trotters.

Allardyce own promotion to the Premier League with Bolton in 2001,shortly after they had moved to the Reebok Stadium. The club were to spend the next eleven years in the top flight, twice surviving relegation and keeping hold of their longest-serving player,Finnish goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.Allardyce left the club in 2007.

Currently,Bolton lie in the bottom half of the league and last season sacked Owen Coyle after reports he'd lost the team's mental strength. His replacement,Dougie Freedman, has brought him some high class members of the squad to motivate the side.
