DON DEAL FOR ROVERS

Louis Tomlinson and John Ryan have successfully completed the paperwork and have taken over as owners of Doncaster Rovers.

A conference was called at 3pm this afternoon where the joint-owners were unveiled as the new owners.They will now financially back manager Paul Dickov for transfers.

One Direction singer Tomlinson,22,originates from Doncaster and had a part-time job at the Keepmoat aged 16.Last season,he played in a reserves charity match to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

Ryan previously owned Doncaster from 1998 to 2013.In these fifteen years,he transformed Doncaster from a non-league club to a Championship side.

The move was delayed due to personal reasons amongst Tomlinson,but the fans wish them well for the future.
