GETTING AWAY:BRISTOL CITY

 

Bristol City are undergoing a huge £40,000,000 redevelopment scheme on their stadium and should successfully become the first stadium to have safe standing in England.

Away fans are now placed in the Atyeo Stand of Ashton Gate since the Wedlock End is being reconstructed and expanded.This is directly opposite the original end.

TRAIN

Parson Street is the nearest station to the ground.It's about ten minutes walking time and has a normal service on matchday.If not,Bristol Temple Meads is two miles away and it's best to get a cab if so.

PRE-MATCH PINT

Pubs closest to the ground are the BS3 Bar and the Hen and Chicken.A popular bar by the waterfront is Nova Scotia and it was designed especially for the away fans.Alcohol isn't available in the stadium so if you do want a pint,go to a pub beforehand in plenty of time.There is also a KFC next to Ashton Gate.

PARKING

Parking next to the stadium is very minimal for away fans and those who park need a permit.The nearest parking area is the Cricket Club on Clanage Road.It's ten minutes away from the away end.
