LEICESTER CITY 1-0 DONCASTER ROVERS

A last-minute goal at the game between Bolton and Birmingham meant the latter club stayed up in goal difference, and relegate Doncaster back down to the third tier.

Doncaster fans were excited when they heard Bolton were 2-0 up but two late goals changed that, along with David Nugent's penalty.

The match was Leicester's to lose with them already confirmed champions, but they wanted to win.Sam Johnstone had to get down to deny Nugent a goal.He then stopped Andy King from slotting home before the break.

Following a series of Mexican waves,41-year-old Kevin Phillips was subbed off for his last ever appareance before retiring.

Doncaster conceded a penalty with just fifteen minutes left when Husband fouled Nugent.DAVID NUGENT blasted it into the net to make it 1-0 to the Foxes.

At full-time,there was a sense of shock and disbelief, knowing a Bolton win would've seen Rovers safe.Meanwhile,Birmingham boss Lee Clark ran into the Blues end and jumped into the crowd.
