JOHNSTONE:MY FUTURE IS BRIGHT

Former Doncaster loanee goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has explained how the experience he had as a Championship player has had good implications for his future.

Before he joined on-loan in February,U21 international Johnstone had penned a new deal at parent club Manchester United.

"The chance to play for a top club was something I needed to happen for me",he explained.

"I had been at Yeovil a few months before  but an injury denied me the chance to play.This opportunity at Doncaster has boosted my playing chances more."

"Doncaster have a good future even though they did get relegated.They will have to put this to one side quickly and focus on the task ahead."
