Paul Dickov has looked carefully at trialling goalkeeper Marian Kello in hope of a deal being sealed.
The former Hearts number one was released by the Edinburgh club due to their financial problems in July last year and signed for Romanian side Astra Girgiu on a six-month-deal.
Kello,30,played the full ninety minutes against Motherwell in a friendly and kept a clean sheet.
The Slovakia international has been in England since joining Hearts from Lithuanian giants FBK Kaunus in January 2008.
